Prairie-Style Townhouse

The townhouse features many acute angles and small spaces; in many ways this kitchen functions like a boat with its narrow and unusual spaces and so many elements needed to fit in tight spaces customized for this home.

A standout element is the invisible induction stove, creating an effortless transition between counter and cooktop.

Our team took on selective deconstruction, electrical and plumbing upgrades, tile & countertop install.

This 1979 townhouse was designed by a Seattle architect who trained with Frank Lloyd Wright and is filled with period details. The owners, both architects, focused on designing a kitchen that met modern needs but looked original to the home. Their goal was to create a more functional space with an effortless flow, and add a compact wet bar to the rear of the kitchen.
