Three things you should know about us.

We hold ourselves to a triple bottom line.

We apply the “triple bottom line” approach to our work because we believe our work should have a positive impact, and we see the relationship between people, planet and prosperity as symbiotic.

We focus on environmental building science.

At 3BLC, we care a great deal about what we do, and about making sure that the work we do reflects what we care about. As building experts, and with Passive House builders on our staff, our role is to bring our understanding of the way healthy buildings operate to our clients and their wider team when evaluating costs and design strategies. This results in projects that produce less waste, are more resilient, more efficient, more comfortable and better for the planet.

We are employee-owned.

With every employee on a potential ownership track, our team is highly engaged, accountable, and friendly. Our company culture emphasizes growth, empowerment, mentorship and education, and as a result our diverse team is continually perfecting and expanding their craft and expertise. This is not a job, this is our profession–and we aim to deliver a high standard of quality and customer service.

We work with clients and design teams to provide and implement beautiful solutions that improve homes and address climate change while increasing comfort and lowering monthly utility bills.

We work on:

  • Remodels

  • Custom Homes

  • ADUs & DADUs

  • To build the world we want to live in.

  • To do meaningful construction work that actively addresses climate change, promotes social equality, fosters prosperity, and to inspire others in the building and business community to do the same

  • Client trust is sacred. Be reliable, honest, and accountable.

How and what we build makes a difference for the climate. Build accordingly.

We strive for excellence, and make space for patience. Stay curious, creative, and intentional.

Inclusion strengthens communities and is essential to prosperity. Respect everyone, always.

More is not necessarily better–enough is always best.
