Bryn Mawr Heritage Modern

It quickly became clear just how far from square the structure was—we identified 2.5 inches of slope across the expanded kitchen. Leveling the floor became an unexpected challenge, but we were grateful to have a highly skilled Site Lead, Alex, manage the process to bring the home back to structural soundness and setting it up for a long life. Our team handled the installation of cabinetry, tile, appliances, electrical, and plumbing; plus, insulation was added where there had been none.

Our client’s kitchen and dining room were closed off, dark, and lacking flow. They wanted a space that felt open and bright—somewhere they could move, cook, and gather comfortably. Our team removed a dividing wall to bring in more natural light, and create a seamless connection between the two spaces. The downstairs bathroom, long overdue for an update, was also modernized.

The result is an open, inviting kitchen that was built to last. We love the deep blue range and hood, contrasted by crisp white cabinets and worktops. The rich walnut countertop and side cabinet (built by our team) add warmth and contrast, balancing modern function with custom craftsmanship.
